Experiencing the Trinity

What is the Trinity? Is it Biblical? Even though the bible does not talk about the Trinity directly, we still have Vestiges of the Trinity. It is talked about indirectly, for example, in the great commission to the Church, Christ bids them to teach and baptism every one in "the name of the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit." In all my christian life, I never seriously thought about the Trinity but after Prof. Ante Jeroncic's lecture last semester, I was blown away. I realized how much I've been missing out on. " The doctrine of the Trinity is the central dogma of Christian theology, the fundamental grammar of our knowledge of God." " God draws near to us in such a way as to draw us near to Himself within the circle of His knowing Himself."

God's Reward For Fidelity

"Stand forth in your God-given manhood and womanhood. Show a purity of tastes, appetite, and habits that bears comparison with Daniel's. God will reward you with calm nerves, a clear brain, an unimpaired judgment, keen perceptions. The youth of today whose principles are firm and unwavering will be blessed with health of body, mind, and soul." E.G White

Practical Precepts: Guide to Daily Life # 2

Remember that you are an actor in a drama, of such a kind as the author ( God) pleases to make it. If short, of a short one; if long, of a long one. If it is His pleasure you should act a poor man, a cripple, a governor, or a private person, see that you act it naturally. For this is your business, to act well the character assigned you; to choose it is another's.

Practical Precepts: Guide to Daily Life

Remember that you must behave in life as at a dinner party. Is anything brought around to you? Put out your hand and take your share with moderation. Does it pass by you? Don't stop it. Is it not yet come? Don't stretch your desire towards it, but wait till it reaches you.
